ARCHIVED - Yellow weather warnings for Murcia on October 26
More rain is expected in coastal areas of Murcia this Tuesday
After some parts of the Region of Murcia were hit by intense rain on Friday October 22, the State Meteorological Agency, Aemet, has issued yet another yellow weather warning in effect from 12 noon on Tuesday October 26.
The warning specifies that residents in the Campo de Cartagena and in Mazarrón can expect up to 20 millilitres of rainfall in just one hour, meaning that some areas could be at risk of flooding.
Coastal areas such as La Manga, San Javier, Mazarrón and Cartagena are forecast to have episodes of rain throughout the day on Tuesday and Aemet’s weather warning is in effect until 11.59pm.
The rain is going to drag into Wednesday October 27 and, although some clouds will persist, Thursday is expected to be relatively dry in the Region.
