The Quiosco La Cubana may not be the most imposing of the many places where snacks and drinks are available in Alhama de Murcia, but it is one of the best known and most popular due to its location in the green and leafy Parque La Cubana in the centre of the town. 

The park is a great spot to enjoy a little rest during a visit to Alhama, and includes a wide variety of plants and trees as well as an impressive aviary, children’s play areas and the open-air auditorium which is used in the summer for concerts and cultural events.

The café-bar seats 40 people and serves hot and cold snacks and grilled food, with over a dozen to choose from on any given day. It opens every day of the week except Wednesdays, from 9.00 to 14.30 and 16.30 onwards in winter and 10.30 to 15.00 and 18.30 until late in summer.
