Warm with a chance of thunderstorms: Alicante weather forecast May 20-23
Daytime temperatures will remain in the high 20s all this week in Alicante province

The rain that threatened to ruin the weekend was kept mostly at bay in Alicante province but the new week brings another chance of wet weather in the form of thunderstorms, which could make an appearance during the afternoons all week. These will be short lived, however, and in between the skies will be nice and bright and the temperatures will remain in the high 20s.
Monday May 20

After a bright and sunny morning the skies will become more overcast from noon, and there’s a good chance of showers and even stormy episodes in the afternoon.
Daytime temperatures will climb but a sea breeze will give plenty of relief along the coast.
Minimum and maximum temperatures on Monday
Alcoy: 13ºC to 24ºC
Alicante: 15ºC to 26ºC
Denia: 16ºC to 24ºC
Elche: 14ºC to 29ºC
Orihuela: 14ºC to 30ºC
Tuesday May 21

Similar to Monday, the cloud cover will begin to increase in the afternoon, with a small chance of showers in the northwest of Alicante. Few changes are expected temperature-wise and the light wind will feel a little more blustery along the coast.

Wednesday May 22

Wednesday will be a little more cloudy overall but it will be quite overcast all day in north Alicante, where showers are likely in the afternoon. Daytime temperature could dip by a degree or two along the coast and a light wind from the west will develop into maritime breezes later in the day.
