Very hot start to the week in Alicante: Weather forecast April 15-18
The mercury will exceed 30ºC in parts of Alicante before dropping again by the weekend
Temperatures expected in Alicante province on Wednesday
The middle of April will get off to a scorching start in Alicante province, with temperatures tipped to hit the high 20s and even exceed 30ºC in places. This early summer is only temporary, however, and while the weather should remain dry and bright for the most part, the mercury will take a noticeable dip in the run-up to the weekend.
Monday April 15
The week will begin mostly clear with some intervals of high clouds and daytime temperatures will continue to climb. A light and variable wind will be a little more breezy in the afternoon.
Minimum and maximum temperatures on Monday
Alcoy: 11ºC to 26ºC
Alicante: 15ºC to 24ºC
Denia: 13ºC to 24ºC
Elche: 12ºC to 28ºC
Orihuela: 12ºC to 29ºC
Tuesday April 16
Tuesday will be mostly bright or a little cloudy and the temperatures will remain similar to the previous day, possibly rising by a degree or two in parts. Once again, a light breeze will pick up strength in the afternoon.
Minimum and maximum temperatures on Tuesday
Alcoy: 12ºC to 28ºC
Alicante: 14ºC to 22ºC
Denia: 13ºC to 23ºC
Elche: 13ºC to 27ºC
Orihuela: 13ºC to 32ºC
Wednesday April 17
Sadly the daytime temperatures are expected to start dropping on Wednesday, more noticeably in the south of the province. The day will still be dry and bright though, with a light variable wind tending towards an easterly component in the afternoon.

Alcoy: 10ºC to 22ºC
Alicante: 14ºC to 20ºC
Denia: 12ºC to 20ºC
Elche: 12ºC to 21ºC
Orihuela: 12ºC to 21ºC
Thursday April 18
Temperatures will remain mostly unchanged on a day that is forecast to be a little more overcast with plenty of cloudy intervals. A variable breeze will tend towards the east and southeast, becoming more blustery later in the day.

Alcoy: 8ºC to 22ºC
Alicante: 12ºC to 20ºC
Denia: 11ºC to 20ºC
Elche: 9ºC to 22ºC
Orihuela: 10ºC to 23ºC
