Three Ryanair flights cancelled in Murcia due to France air strikes
The Nottingham, Dublin and Stansted flights have been cancelled, while delays are expected to all others
Due to the general strike by airport staff in France today, Tuesday June 6, three out of the 13 flights scheduled at the Region of Murcia International Airport have had to be cancelled, according to the account Aeropuerto Reg de Murcia.
All three flights are operated by Ryanair, and includes the links between Murcia and Nottingham, Dublin and London Stansted.
Murcia Airport will have 19 regular destinations for its summer 2023 high season, many of which are offered by Ryanair and easyJet.
French airport staff are striking against proposed pension reforms in the country.
All other flights at the Region of Murcia Airport today are expected to be delayed due to the strikes.
Just yesterday, on Monday June 5, the free airport transfer bus service for the summer got underway, which will connect Murcia’s Corvera Airport with the cities of Cartagena and Murcia until September 15.
