"The SAREB only owns 4% of all flats currently for sale and we will have no effect on market prices", says Belén Romana
The executive team at the SAREB - more commonly known as the Bad Bank - has announced that the entity has 100,000 properties on its books, of which more than 80,000 are empty properties for sale or rent.
SAREB President, Belén Romana, has stressed that the SAREB will not generate or determine property prices because she claims it will only account for 4% of the market. "We will become just another player and will sell at market prices to achieve our targets", she added.
