Outdoor events in the summer on the bank of the River Segura in Archena

The open-air auditorium in Archena is located close to the thermal spa facilities of the Balneario in a park not far from the bank of the River Segura, and is used to hold musical and other cultural events especially during the summer.

It is a simple semi-circular basin with stepped sides for spectators, and holds an audience of up to 600 spectators, although if the large stage area is not being used the capacity can rise to a thousand.

The auditorium is in the park between Avenida del Río Segura and the Carretera del Balneario, next to the sports complex at the northern end of Archena. Anyone approaching from the A-30 motorway should follow the signs towards the town centre and then turn right at the roundabout immediately after crossing the river: this eventually leads to the Avenida del Río Segura, past the local museum and the tourist office and on to the sports complex and the park in which the auditorium is located.
