The much-needed rain was short-lived: Andalusia weekend weather forecast December 7-10
Saturday and Sunday promise to bring a bright end to an otherwise wet and windy week

Andalucía weather forecast, Sunday December 10
It’s been a drizzly week so far for many parts of the southern Spanish autonomous community of Andalucía, which was welcomed by those parts of the region that have been labouring under water restrictions and pre-drought alerts, even this late in the year.
But that rain will mostly clear up by midday on Friday and it will be a largely bright and sunny weekend ahead of some more scattered rain next week.
Thursday December 7 will be characterised by dark, low-hanging clouds, especially in the western half of the region, and misty patches in much of the inland eastern half towards the evening. There will also be rain in the far northwestern corner of Huelva and in the province of Almería, as well as in Granada’s Sierra Nevada mountains.

Andalucía weather forecast, Thursday December 7
The morning of Friday 8 brings more scattered rainfall to Málaga, Granada and Jaén in the morning and misty patches, plus yellow weather warnings for the coast of Almería for winds of 50-60kmh and waves of 2-3 metres high. Towards the afternoon, however, it will clear up and becomes much sunnier and calmer.

Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 will be bright and sunny for all, with temperatures rise slightly to sit above 20ºC during the day. It will keep getting hotter as we move into the beginning of next week, bringing uncharacteristically warm temperatures in the mid-20s in the middle of December, although more rain is forecast to come next Wednesday.
