ARCHIVED - Teulada Moraira Art and Craft Fair: June 24-26
More than 20 artists and craftspeople will display and sell their wares at the fair in the Marina Alta town in Alicante province

Tuelada Moraira is hosting its annual Art and Craft Fair this weekend featuring the work of more than 20 artists and artisans.
The three-day fair will be held from June 24 to 26, from 6pm to midnight in Teulada's Plaza de la Constitución
The Department of Culture initiative aims to offer residents and visitors to the coastal town a different type of activity, where they can not only buy authentic crafts, but also see how artisans and artists make their pieces.
The Amata artisan association will be in charge of organising the event, ensuring all stalls exclusively offer handmade items of good quality using a wide variety of materials and products.
Stalls will include portrait painting, wooden or fabric toys, jewellery made with different materials such as silver, glass, wood, macramé or ceramics and handmade clothing. There will also be watercolour and oil painting, lamps made of felled wood and pumpkins, decorative ceramics, marquetry, and much more.
And visitors to the fair will be able to order tailor-made items and witness first hand their orders being produced. There will also be workshops for children to learn how to make their own souvenir handicrafts.
Councilor for Culture, Héctor Morales, is encouraging everyone to come along to the fair "which has great cultural and historical significance and can be enjoyed as a family".
