ARCHIVED - Terra Natura Murcia waterpark re-opens on June 5
Full covid safety and hygiene measures are in place this summer for visitors at both the wildlife and water parks
As temperatures increase, the best place to cool off this summer is the Terra Natura "Aqua Natura" waterpark, situated just off the main ringroad in Murcia city.
The waterpark is the only one of its kind in the Murcia region, and provides a refreshing and enjoyable way to cool down in the heat of summer. It features swimming pools for adults and children, slides and shoots, kamikazes, lazy river, entertainment and games for youngsters, all within a short distance of the centre of the City of Murcia which offers a superb selection of hotels, restaurants and cultural activities for those warm summer evenings and winter breaks.
The waterpark is complemented by the wildlife park, which contains over 300 animals from 50 different species, including Giraffes, Meerkats, Lions, Hippopotamus, Lemurs, Brown Bears, Iberian Wolves, the native Iberian Lynx and Rhinoceros.
At Terra Natura Murcia you can also watch two exciting educational shows, both included in the entry price: A thrilling bird of prey show, and another show featuring the playful sea lions.
This summer particular attention is being paid to ensuring visitors can enjoy a safe day, with full covid measures in place and entry numbers restricted to prevent overcrowding.
Prior booking is highly recommended via the Terra Natura Murcia webpage
