The heat will continue to build in Alicante province and really ramp up towards the weekend
Average temperatures on Thursday
Summer has well and truly arrived in Alicante province and the coming week promises to be dry, bright and exceptionally warm. The early morning will be a bit overcast but this will clear quickly, and while the skies will be largely sunny this will be punctuated with intervals of high clouds. Temperatures will remain more or less the same as the weekend, and a light easterly breeze should bring some relief.

Alcoy: 18ºC to 30ºC
Alicante: 22ºC to 29ºC
Denia: 21ºC to 29ºC
Elche: 21ºC to 30ºC
Orihuela: 21ºC to 31ºC
Tuesday July 9
Mostly clear or slightly cloudy skies are forecast on Tuesday after another overcast start. There won’t be much change to the night-time temperatures but the thermometers will start to creep up at the height of the day, more noticeably inland.

Wednesday July 10
Wednesday’s forecast is almost identical to the previous couple of days, with the cloud cover clearing early and giving way to mostly sunny skies. Both day and night-time temperatures will continue to climb, and some respite should be offered by a gently easterly wind.

Alicante: 22ºC to 30ºC
Denia: 21ºC to 32ºC
Elche: 21ºC to 33ºC
