Sunny and warm before more rain: Alicante weather forecast Sept 16-19
Widespread showers and storms are forecast in Alicante province later this week
Weather outlook for Alicante on Thursday
Alicante province is in for another fairly mixed week, with sunny skies and pleasant temperatures giving way to rain and cloud later in the week.
Monday September 16
Monday will be the nicest day of the week, with mostly clear and sunny skies. Daytime temperatures will remain largely unchanged but the night will be a little warmer than previous days.
The breeze will be light, tending to the southeast in the afternoon.
Tuesday September 17
Tuesday will start off rather overcast and this cloud cover will build as the day goes on. From noon, there’s a chance of showers throughout the province which could be intense in places.
Daytime temperatures will decrease inland with few changes along the coast.
The winds will remain light for the most part, but it could get blustery in coastal towns later in the evening.
Wednesday September 18
Wednesday will be another dark and dreary day, with widespread and even thundery showers forecast.
Daytime temperatures will continue to fall, and an easterly wind will feel particularly strong along the southern coast.
Thursday September 19
Little improvement is forecast for Thursday, as the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) forecasts cloudy or overcast skies with showers and locally strong or persistent thunderstorms.
No major changes are expected temperature-wise and the breeze will once more feel strongest along the south coast of Alicante.

- Tuesday September 17: Min 14ºC; Max 29ºC
- Wednesday September 18: Min 14ºC; Max 27ºC
- Thursday September 19: Min 14ºC; Max 26ºC
