Sporting facilities Mazarron Country Club and nearby
There are plenty of facilities on and around the Mazarrón Country Club
Mazarron Country Club has a variety of sports facilities, including a large outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts and a petanca court. The swimming pool is open to the public throughout the summer months and has a poolside bar selling cold drinks and snacks and there is a restaurant nearby for reasonably priced lunches or dinners.
There are a number of good golf courses available in the area, with the Sensol Golf Club in Camposol being the nearest. There are many other courses just a 30 to 50 minute drive away. These include the Hacienda del Alamo and La Manga Club, both designed by Dave Thomas and, just a ten minute drive will take you to the Polaris World Condado de Alhama course, designed by Jack Nicklaus.
Mazarrón has a wide range of sporting facilities, with tennis courts and padel courts which can be hired, and diving is a very popular sport in Mazarrón due to the clear waters and interesting dives along the coast. Both Alhama de Murcia and Totana have covered swimming pools and there are many options to enjoy horseriding, quadbiking, boat trips, walking, sailing, lake canoeing and climbing, all within a 40 minute drive.
There are also over 30 beaches within the Mazarrón municipality alone, just a few minutes drive from the urbanisation.
