ARCHIVED - Salt Church Mar Menor: new name, new home, same great community spirit
The popular English-language church has moved to a permanent location in San Javier
Despite Covid, lockdown and having no permanent home, Salt Church has continued to meet and grow in Los Alcázares. Now, though, the popular Murcia church is on the move.
From this May, Salt Church will have a new permanent home in San Javier, not just for Sunday services, which are held every week at 10.45am, but also for other weekday activities too. They’re calling it ‘The Hub’, and it is next door to the well-known Yorkshire Linen shop.
Because of this, the church will now be known as Salt Church Mar Menor.
Pastor Andy Neale said at the recent Commissioning service, “We may have changed our name and we may have moved our location but we remain committed to the traditional teaching of the Bible. We may be ordinary people but we believe and trust in an extraordinary God.”
Anyone interested in joining the thriving church community at Salt Church Mar Menor can contact Pastor Andy on +34 622 416 793, or visit their Facebook page facebook.com/saltchurchmarmenor
