Restaurante Marquicos serves down-to-earth traditional food in the north-west of the town of Alhama de Murcia, providing welcome sustenance for those who have been exploring the mountains of Sierra EspuñaRestaurants Alhama de Murcia, Restaurante Marquicos as they drive back down into the town.

Smoked ham and stews are very much in evidence, and especially recommended is the sirloin with roquefort sauce, although there are also plenty of other appetizing dishes and bar snacks to tempt customers.

Despite its fairly modest exterior the restaurant can seat up to 70, plus another 20 at the bar, and a filling Menú del Día is provided at just 10€ per head: this consists of a salad, a starter, a main course, a drink, coffee and dessert, and group menus are also available on demand.

There is no private parking at Restaurante Marquicos, but parking is not generally a problem nearby and Restaurants Alhama de Murcia, Restaurante Marquicosaccess is easy for those of limited mobility to both the bar and dining areas. For most of the year the establishment is open every day of the week until 17.00 and on Saturday evenings from 20.00 until late, but in summer it does not open on Sundays.
