Restaurants Alhama de Murcia, Restaurante La Perdiz

Restaurants Alhama de Murcia, Restaurante La Perdiz

Eating out in a rural environment in the heart of the Sierra Espuña mountain range

Restaurante La Perdiz is one of the very few restaurants in the natural park of the Sierra Espuña mountain range in central Murcia, and is also part of a small complex containing four tourist apartments which can be Restaurants Alhama de Murcia, Restaurante La Perdizrented out in the heart of one of the most spectacular landscapes in the Costa Cálida.

In keeping with its rural setting, La Perdiz serves traditional food and game, and it is not uncommon to find boar, venison, partridges and the like on the menu. Especially recommended are these game dishes and the paella and other rice specialities, which are cooked over wood-fired stoves.

Set menus are available for between 15 and 20 euros per head, depending on what meat and seafood is available at any given time. In an effort to avoid misunderstandings the menu is presented not only in Spanish but also in English, French and German, and speakers of these languages are sometimes (but not always) on hand.

There is seating inside for 120 customers and another 40 can be catered for on the outdoor terrace: one of Restaurants Alhama de Murcia, Restaurante La Perdizthe dining rooms can be hired out for private functions, and the complex is accessible for those of limited mobility. Parking is next to the La Perdiz complex, and wi-fi is available.

Note: Restaurante La Perdiz closes on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and also throughout the month of July, but is open throughout the rest of the year from 9.00 to 19.00.
