Fine dining and a varied menu in the southern outskirts of Alhama de Murcia

Restaurante El Chaleco is situated in Avenida Bastarreche, the main street which leads into the centre of Alhama de Murcia from the RM-2 dual carriageway, Condado de Alhama and Mazarrón, and can be found just after crossing the bridge over the railway line in the outskirts of the town when approaching from the south-east. 

This is a large establishment, and can seat up to 150 customers in the main dining-room and a private area which can be reserved. There is also an outdoor terrace where diners can enjoy the wide range of meat and fish dishes on the menu. 

A Menú del Día is supplied at 16€ per head, and special menus can be offered for group bookings.

Among the items on the main à la carte menu are a wide variety of seafood, meat, fish and vegetable dishes, and an ample array of starters is also offered. For those having trouble deciding, the chef’s daily recommendations are also included in the menu, and there is an impressive wine list to accompany the dishes.

There is no car park, but parking is usually simple in the residential streets of the outskirts of Alhama, and there is access for those of limited mobility to the bar and dining areas and the toilets. 

Restaurante El Chaleco closes on Mondays (all day) and Tuesday evenings, and three weeks of holiday are taken every August.
