Rain in Murcia: Weekly weather forecast October 7-13

Murcia weather forecast, Friday October 11

While much of Spain will be subject to rain as a byproduct of Hurricane Kirk this week, Murcia will escape mostly unaffected – that is, until the weekend – according to the latest forecast from the Spanish State Meteorological Agency (Aemet).

Temperatures will take a bit of a dip midweek, leaving maximums of 26-27ºC (still high but far below the record high of 35.5ºC reached last week) but then climb back up again to around 30-32ºC by the weekend.

Monday October 7 will be mostly sunny and dry with some high cloud cover, though Cieza could get a light scattering of rain at about 8pm and some other northern areas like Caravaca de la Cruz could see storms overnight.

Tuesday October 8 will be much drier, with more periods of high cloud cover and just a gentle breeze blowing, weather conditions that are expected to continue over Wednesday 9 and Thursday 10, even as neighbouring provinces such as Albacete and Jaén experience more rain and possible storms.

It is at the weekend when the rain is forecast to move in for Murcia, starting with widespread showers on Friday October 11 that will leave a sprinkling for everyone in the Region. The rain continues on Saturday 12, especially for the southern half of the Region of Murcia, but begins to dry up from Sunday 13.
