The Parque de las Palmeras is a small park next to the Playa de las Palmeras beach in Los Alcázares, behind the Hotel Costa Narejos. The park takes its name from the large number of palm trees growing there, which provide some much needed shade in the warm summer months, making it a popular venue for cultural and sporting events.
