The mercury will drop across Alicante province before picking up again towards the end of the week

Alicante weather forecast, Tuesday July 25
After a mixed weekend that brought cooling showers amid scorching temperatures, the mercury will take another dramatic upswing on Monday before dropping to more comfortable values mid-week.
The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has activated an orange alert for the southern coast of the province on Monday July 24, where the temperatures will hover at around 39ºC, and a yellow warning remains in place inland and in the north.
The day will begin a little overcast and hazy but this should clear towards the afternoon with light winds from the south forecast throughout.

Alicante: 25ºC to 36ºC
Denia: 25ºC to 35ºC
Elche: 24ºC to 38ºC
Orihuela: 26ºC to 39ºC
Tuesday July 25 will dawn clear and this will last until noon when the cloud clover will begin to increase, bringing a noticeable drop in daytime temperatures, which should fall to an average of around 33ºC. There’s a chance of scattered showers in northern towns and light easterly winds will prevail.
Minimum and maximum temperatures on Tuesday:
Alcoy: 19ºC to 33ºC
Alicante: 24ºC to 33ºC
Denia: 24ºC to 31ºC
Elche: 24ºC to 34ºC

Wednesday July 26 will be quite mixed, with clear skies to the north but cloudy intervals and a chance of weak afternoon showers in the south. Daytime temperatures will drop to a maximum of 30ºC although few changes are expected during the night, which will continue to be uncomfortably warm.

Alicante: 25ºC to 30ºC
Denia: 23ºC to 30ºC
Elche: 24ºC to 30ºC

Alicante: 24ºC to 30ºC
