November 8-9 A taste of tradition at La Aljorra's 7th Artisan Beer and Cheese Fair
Enjoy gourmet treats, local brews and live music for all the family on Saturday November 8 and Sunday November 9
This weekend the Cartagena district of La Aljorra celebrates the 7th edition of its Artisan Beer and Cheese Fair - a must for food lovers and families alike. Taking place on Calle Gaspar de Portolá, the event runs from 11.00am to 11.00pm on Saturday November 8, and 11.00am to 4.00pm on Sunday November 9.What’s on and when:
Saturday November 8:
- 11.00am to 11.00pm: Gourmet Cheese and Craft Beer Market, kids’ inflatables, family activities
- 12.30pm: Live music from Replay
- 8.30pm: Concert by Sótano 14
Sunday November 9:
- 11.00am to 4.00pm: Market and family activities continue
- 12.30pm: Roll Band perform live
For younger guests, there are plenty of inflatables and fun activities, while live musical performances keep the mood festive.
Throughout both days, visitors can browse the Gourmet Cheese and Craft Beer Market, featuring top producers like La Yerbera, Sabores de Tallante, La Granja del Fraile, Marina, and Señorío de Villahermosa. Sample local and regional beers from El Cantero, Ricote Valley, La Cala, and Canana LA Brewpub.
Organised by the Association of Businesses and Shops of La Aljorra, together with the Municipal Board, Cartagena City Council, Region of Murcia and La Aljorra Neighbourhood Association, this fair is part of the “1,001 Flavours Region of Murcia” initiative.The event brings together tradition, local produce and family fun in a welcoming setting – it’s an ideal way to spend your weekend sampling the best of Murcia’s artisan flavours. There’s truly something for everyone to enjoy.
