November 15 Athletics in the street in Águilas
Free activities for all as the Murcia Athletics Federation celebrates its centenary
A special day of athletics in the streets is being held at the Auditorio Infanta Doña Elena in Águilas on Saturday 15th November, when the morning begins at 10.00 with a talk by former Olympian walker Juan Antonio Molina before activities for all begin at 11.00 outside the building and at the Playa de las Delicias.
All of these activities are free of charge and those taking part will receive a free commemorative t-shirt, courtesy of the celebrations of the centenary of the Region of Murcia Athletics Federation.
The morning is scheduled to end at 13.00.

Águilas boasts 28 kilometres of coastline, with many fine, sandy beaches, sheltered coves and unspoilt natural beaches. Throughout the year it also has a number of museums and historical attractions, a castle with fabulous views overlooking the bay and several other points of interest, all of which make it an good place to visit for days out. Throughout the year the tourist office runs monthly guided tours and the route of the railways, which explores the railway history of the town.
The tourist information office is located in the Plaza de Antonio Cortijos, just a short walk from the sea front and Plaza de España, a cool, shaded space in which to enjoy a coffee.
