Construction work is well underway to build a road connecting Roldán with La Torre Golf Resort.

The idea is to open a new road between the residential urbanisation and Avenida de las Américas in Roldán, as explained by sources from Torre Pacheco Town Hall.

The road will be 22 metres wide, have 2 lanes of traffic and parking on both sides, as well as street lighting and pavements which are 2.5 metres wide.

This is in addition to other work on the golf resort itself, such as renewing and modernising the electrics on Calle Esturión Street and Calle Arenque, as well as change replacing manhole covers and mending other street fixtures that are in poor condition.

Torre Pacheco Councilor for Town Planning, Alberto Galindo, explained that since the urbanisation was completed in 2010, there have been “deficiencies and works to be executed by the promoter Polaris Word” which the Town Hall vowed to fix in 2016, a promise they are now making good on.
