The weather in Murcia this week is expected to be calm and bright with mild temperatures

The Region of Murcia is in for a week with dry weather conditions and plenty of sunny skies, with some cloud cover but little chance of rain, according to the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), who also note that, while it won’t exactly be warm, we won’t be shivering in a chill wind either.

Murcia weather forecast, Monday March 16Monday brings settled conditions, with Aemet predicting “partly cloudy or clear skies” with “light to moderate northerly winds” and the chance of “light frosts in the mountains”.
In terms of temperatures, minimums will mainly be around 2-5ºC in the northern half of the Region, and 6-10ºC in the southern half. At the height of the day, temperatures will reach up to around 16-17ºC in the north and south, and 18-19ºC in central municipalities.

Murcia minimum and maximum temperatures, Tuesday March 17On Tuesday, temperatures are set to rise slightly, with maximums being a couple of degrees higher in most places, though minimums will remain the same or even be slightly colder, while sky conditions will still be for perfectly clear, blue skies.

Murcia weather forecast, Wednesday March 18Wednesday could bring slightly stronger winds, but nothing near gale force – only around 20-25kmh and mainly limited to the coastal area of Cartagena – while it will be cloudier than the day before, though still plenty warm enough, with temperatures largely unchanged.
Thursday March 19
Murcia weather forecast, Thursday March 19On Thursday, again, we will continue with the same pleasant temperatures, gentle breezes and slightly overcast skies from the day before, with few changes.
Looking further ahead to the weekend, Aemet is currently forecasting temperatures to stay around the same level, but also increase the probability of rainfall and thunderstorms on Saturday and Sunday. However, that could all change between now and then, so do keep an eye out for updated weather forecasts.

How to get there
Parque Almenara is located on the Lorca–Águilas road C-3211 at km 1.9. On a GPS, the coordinates to put in are: N 37º 63´ W -1º 69´
If you’re going by bus, there is a direct bus route that leaves from Apolonia.
