“The perfect beach weekend”: Murcianos head to the coast to avoid rising temperatures inland
Temperatures will remain largely unchanged in coastal areas of Murcia this weekend with maximums hanging between 23 and 26 degrees, while inland areas will get a bit warmer, rising from around 23/25 degrees up to highs of 30 in Cieza and 31 in Murcia city. Expect it to be quite muggy too, as humidity is also on the rise across the region.
Friday and Saturday will see clear skies, with some patchy cloud cover on Saturday afternoon. Sunday will be more overcast, helping to reduce the feeling of a heat a bit as we head into next week.
The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) hasn’t forecast strong winds for this weekend or the week to come, with just some variable light breezes along the coast.
