Mild but dull and dreary: Alicante weather forecast Oct 14-17
Showers and heavier rain will extend throughout Alicante province from mid-week
Weather outlook in Alicante on Tuesday October 15
Alicante, like the rest of Spain, will be under the influence of a new Atlantic front over the coming days which could lead to widespread rain from the middle of the week. Despite this, the temperatures will remain very pleasant and warm, although the skies will be largely cloudy or even overcast.
Monday October 14
The week will begin very cloudy with plenty of early morning mist and fog banks across the province. Light and scattered showers are forecast, but these should be confined to inland areas.
Monday will be quite warm, with the temperatures hovering in the high 20s throughout.
Tuesday October 15
Another very dark and overcast day is forecast, with a good chance that the inland showers will turn thundery in the afternoon.
Daytime temperatures will drop considerably, although this will also be more pronounced inland.
It could feel a little cooler along the coast thanks to a brisk northeasterly breeze.
Wednesday October 16
Wednesday is expected to be cloudy, although the skies should clear a little towards the end of the day. Once again, rain is expected inland and in the north of the province, but these showers will almost certainly spread further south as the hours go by.
Daytime temperatures will increase by a degree or two along the coast.
Thursday October 17
More showers are forecast across the board on Thursday, but the rain will be weaker and more scattered in southern Alicante, where there should also be some bright spells in the evening.
Temperatures will fall inland with few changes expected on the coast.
Light westerly winds increasing to moderate from midday.
