MGP Race to Mar Menor golf competition 2025 winners crowned in ceremony
The competition champions and participants enjoyed a post-tournament celebration
The annual MGP Race to Mar Menor golf tournament, which was held on Thursday March 6 and Friday 7, 2025, has concluded with a prize-giving ceremony at the Mar Menor clubhouse. After two days of intense competition, participants and organisers came together to celebrate the event’s success with an evening of well-deserved awards and refreshments.
This year’s tournament saw some exceptional performances despite challenging conditions. Congratulations go to the overall winners:
- Men’s Champion: Darren Elliott
- Ladies’ Champion: Alexis Jacobsen
With a total of 43 prizes awarded, every participant played their part in making the event a success. Tournament sponsors MGP extended their appreciation to all competitors for their sportsmanship and resilience throughout the tournament.
Special thanks were given to Captain Sue Lansdell and her team for their dedication to organising the event on behalf of the Mar Menor Frolic Golf Society (MMFGS). Their hard work ensured a seamless experience for all involved, reinforcing the tournament’s reputation as a highlight of the resort’s golfing calendar.
