Three chemists and a local surgery exist in Cabo de Palos

The medical centre of Cabo de Palos is just a few metres from the western end of the marina and the seafront in Ronda de Poniente: the best place to park is outside the church, from where it is only a one-minute walk along Calle Marín (see map). Telephone 968 145151.

There are three dispensing chemists in the town, one on the main road up to the lighthouse, one in the residential area next to Playa La Galera and one in the shopping centre near the “Kilometre 0” junction of the dual carriageway which leads into La Manga.

Cabo de Palos is served by the Santa Lucía hospital just east of the city of Cartagena. This is approximately 25 minutes away by car, and only slightly longer is the journey to the Los Arcos hospital in San Javier.
