ARCHIVED - May 23 free 6km guided walk exploring the natural environment in San Fulgencio
An opportunity to explore San Fulgencio's natural environment in the province of Alicante is on offer on Sunday, May 23.
San Fulgencio in the Vega Baja comarca of the Alicante province is home to urban gardens and salt marches and orchards, an array of bird species and protected plants, and the town hall is offering a chance to find out more about the natural environment in an eco-tourist tour on Sunday, May 23.
The eco-route 'huerta y el saladar' (orchard and salt marsh) is 6km long and classed as 'low level' in difficulty, so perfect for all ages and abilities, including children over the age of 10.
Up to 40 people can take part, and anybody interested in going along is asked to meet at El Oasis recreation area in La Marina Urbanisation at 9.50am for a 10am start.
It's a good idea to where suitable walking shoes, take along refreshments and a packed lunch and of course, mask wearing is mandatory. You can reserve your place on the tour here.
