ARCHIVED - March 31 to April 2 Mutxamel Street Food Market
Canyar de les Portelles Park in the Alicante town will be awash with food trucks and activities
An array of food trucks offering delicious, quality cuisine at affordable prices will descend on Mutxamel's Canyar de les Portelles Park from March 31 to April 2 for the town's 7th annual Street Food Market.
Ten vintage food trucks will be serving food from all over the world, including Tex-Mex, hot dogs, hamburgers, Argentinian, Italian, Japanese and crepes.
In addition to the food market, there will also be a variety of free events, including four live concerts and children's activities.
On Friday night, SIGLO XXI Tributo a Mecano will take to the stage.
Saturday morning music will be provided by The Liverpool Band performing The Beatles best hits.
Saturady night will see the turn of Madrid musician, Xeco Rojo.
Sunday morning, to close the program of live music Dias de Radio will perform classic songs from the 80's and 90's.
Other entertainment includes:
Saturday morning, Edy the Clown will take to the stage to entertain the little ones.
Saturday evening there will be laughter with a comedy night with 'Alicante Comedy'.
Sundaym orning, Dani Miquel will perform a show for the whole family.
Throughout the three-day event, there will also be music by DJ Adriasola.
"Street Food is a gastronomic market made up of trucks, vans, caravans, stalls and food trucks with vintage aesthetics, which offer a wide range of quality gastronomy," said Villajosa Council, adding: "Its aim is to combine gastronomic culture with leisure activities and enjoyment of a popular public space."
