ARCHIVED - March 23 to 26 Outdoor outlet fair in the centre of Cartagena
30 local retail businesses sell in the sunshine on the Explanada del Puerto in Cartagena
Over 30 local shops and stores in Cartagena are taking their business outdoors on the Explanada del Puerto between March 23 and 26 as they take part in the second “Feria del Comercio”, an initiative to boost their attraction among local consumers.
The fair was officially opened on March 23 by Mayoress Noelia Arroyo, Councillor Manuel Padín and the local traders association leader Ángela de la Cruz, who explained that three food trucks will be in place to ensure that shoppers do not go hungry while visiting the stalls and stands. The event is also accompanied by children’s activities, arts and crafts workshops and three live musical performances.
The fair opens every day from 10.00 to 14.00 and 17.00 to 20.30 and food is served between 12.00 and 14.00.
