Lorry accident on A-30 Murcia-Cartagena road causes huge 6-hour traffic jam
The truck lost control and crashed, blocking two lanes of traffic
The A-30 autovía in Murcia at Puerto de la Cadena was closed for nearly six hours yesterday, Tuesday June 11, after a lorry crashed, blocking both lanes of traffic going in the direction of Cartagena.
It was at 1.15pm when the DGT warned of massive tailbacks from around kilometre 150 of the A-30 due to the accident.
The lorry driver seemingly lost control of the vehicle, swerving across the road and crashing straight through the median to block traffic on the other side.
Thankfully nobody was seriously harmed in the accident. Eventually another lorry was able to come and tow the ruined vehicle away and the road was opened once again after six hours.
