June 29 to July 27 activities for teenagers in the Verano Joven program of Alhama de Murcia
Plenty of fun for energetic teenagers both in Alhama and on trips to other parts of Murcia
The Youth department of the Town Hall of Alhama de Murcia is once again organizing a series of summer activities for people aged 12 to 20 within its “Verano Joven 2023” program, including plenty of active fun and games to look forward to during the first half of the summer.
Further information and registration are available through the Concejalía de Juventud, located in the Casa de la Cultura on Avenida de la Constitución and by telephone on 968 631985 (opening hours weekdays 8.00 to 14.00).
The program includes the following activities:
Thursday June 29: Rock climbing at the Pabellón Municipal de Deportes, starting at 19.00 (free of charge).
Thursday July 6: Trip to Aqualandia from 10.00 to 18.00, leaving from the Parque de La Cubana (price 18 euros including admission and coach transport).
July 10 to 12: 3x3 basketball at the Pabellón de Deportes Adolfo Suárez (no registration fee).
Thursday July 13: Kart racing at Karting Espuña, 18.00 to 20.30, leaving from the Parque de La Cubana. Price 16 euros including transport, admission, kart hire, monitor and two 10-minute racing sessions.
Thursday July 20: Paddle surf trip to the beaches of Puerto de Mazarrón (Bahía Surf), leaving at 16.00 from the Parque de La Cubana and returning at 20.30. Price 12 euros including transport and equipment hire.
July 24 to 26: Mixed 5-a-side football tournament at the Polideportivo 'El Praíco' (registration free of charge).
Thursday July 27: Rafting on the River Segura from Blanca to Cieza, leaving from the Parque de La Cubana at 9.00 and returning at 14.30. Price 12 euros including transport, photos, snack, changing rooms and showers)
