June 14 Mazarron 4.5K run
Children and adults are invited to take part in a run in central Mazarrón next Wednesday
On Wednesday June 14, the Local Police force of Mazarrón are organising a run along the town’s Avenida de la Constitución to mark the occasion of the celebration of the Patron Saint, the Sacred Heart of Jesus.There are different categories for children of all ages and for adults.
Races start from 6pm and runners interested in participating can sign up on the same day from 3pm at the Local Police station.
The prizes include a trophy for the runners in the first three positions of each category, as well as a complementary gift for all participants.
Categories
- Children 5–7 years old: 800 metres
- Children 8–9 years old: 800 metres
- Children 10–11 years old: 1,500 metres
- Children 12–13 years old: 3,000 metres
- Children 14–15 years old: 3,000 metres
- Children 16–18 years old: 4,500 metres
- Adults 19+ years old: 4,500 metres
