It's a washout: Andalusia weather forecast October 7-13
Get ready for a good soaking this week in the south of Spain
Andalucía weather forecast, Saturday October 12
It will be a bit of a wet week for many in Andalucía as the tendrils of Hurricane Kirk make themselves felt on this side of the Atlantic. There will also be a bit of a drop in temperatures midweek that will make it noticeably cooler.
On Monday October 7, it is the western half of the region that will be hardest hit by the heavier rain, while in the east only some inland areas of Granada, Córdoba and Jaén will get light showers. However, the coasts of Málaga, Granada and Almería have been placed on yellow alert by the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) for strong winds of 50-60kmh and waves of 2-4 metres high.

Tuesday 8 will be much foggier, especially in the central-western part of the region in the early part of the day, with rain forecast for the coast of Cádiz and the far north in the morning, though the afternoon will be much brighter and drier.

On Wednesday 9, there is heavy rain forecast for almost the entirety of Andalucía during the day, with the exception of Almería and the far east.

Thursday 10 is drier all told, before the rain returns with a vengeance on Friday 11, accompanied by some moderately strong winds of up to around 20kmh on the coast of Cádiz.

The rain continues all over for most of Saturday 12, and even bits of Almería could get rain, before it gets drier and brighter and the sun comes back out for Sunday afternoon, October 13.
