More than a dozen bars/restaurants in the Vega Baja town, Alicante province are offering tapas and a drink for 3 euros
Torrevieja is serving up its 6th annual International Tapas Day next week, offering the public a chance to sample a wide variety of dishes for just 3 euros, including a drink.
Fourteen bars and restaurants are participating in the gastronomic event on Saturday September 24, organised by the town council and Torrevieja's Association of Hospitality Businesses.
Tapas will be dished up between 12 noon to 4.30pm and 7.30pm to 11pm, when locals and visitors alike will be able to enjoy different types of cuisine, such as Mediterranean and traditional Spanish delicacies: Iberian pork sirloin, pumpkin pâté, crispy hake with vegetables, duck croquettes, cod fritters and prawns in tempura.
International Tapas Day Torrevieja customers will also be presented with a commemorative gift.
The following establishments are taking part: Bianco Sea Emotion; Cafeteria Mediodía 23; Aura Food & Drinks; Hostel / Restaurant HB Torrevieja; Bahía Restaurant; Bar / Tapería Los Zamoranos
La Cantina Food & Drinks; Joaquín Chapaprieta Cafeteria; Tapería El Teatro; Burger Hombre del Mar; Restaurant La Mata "Felisa; Pepes Rice Shop; La Encina Restaurant; and Restaurant Botánico.
