Hot and sunny after the rain: Alicante weekend weather forecast April 3-7
A couple of damp and dreary days will be followed by a weekend of sunshine and summery temperatures in Alicante

Average temperatures expected on Saturday April 5
Storm Nuria is beating a path through Spain at the moment, leaving widespread rain, ferocious gusts of wind and thunderstorms in her wake. As a result, Alicante, especially the north of the province, can expect a couple of dark, wet and dreary days but the sunshine will return as we enter the weekend proper, with temperatures soaring into the high 20s.
Thursday April 3

Southern Alicante will be relatively bright on Thursday but the rest of the province can expect overcast skies and scattered showers all day. Daytime temperatures will start to inch up in the south, while a light wind from the east will feel blustery along the coast.
Friday April 4

The winds will be even stronger and unpredictable on Friday and as a result, yellow alerts for dangerous sea conditions have been issued for the north and southern coasts of Alicante.
The day will begin cloudy and become even more overcast as the hours go by although the mercury will continue to climb, hitting a very warm 27ºC in the likes of Orihuela and Elche.
Saturday April 5

Saturday will be mostly sunny with a smattering of high clouds in the south, but there’s still a chance of some light rain in the north of the province.
Daytime temperatures will remain largely unchanged.
Sunday April 6

After a clear start, cloud cover will become heavier during the day and light, isolated showers are again expected in northern inland areas in the afternoon.
Temperatures will remain relatively unchanged, except for a slight increase in the maximums in inland areas of Alicante. Light, variable winds, will feel breezy along the coast.
Monday April 7

As we head into a new week, the temperatures will unfortunately drop by a degree or two in most parts, although Monday again promises to be dry in the south with scattered showers in the north.
Minimum and maximum temperatures in Alicante this weekend
- Thursday April 3: Min 8ºC; Max 25ºC
- Friday April 4: Min 11ºC; Max 27ºC
- Saturday April 5: Min 10ºC; Max 27ºC
- Sunday April 6: Min 9ºC; Max 28ºC
- Monday April 7: Min 10ºC; Max 24ºC
