Heat warnings return: Alicante weather forecast July 3-6
Temperatures will dip slightly in Alicante before shooting up again at the weekend

Average temperatures forecast on Saturday July 5
The first heatwave of the season may be over, but that means little for the sky-high temperatures across Alicante province. We’ll feel some relief for a day of two but the mercury is set to shoot up again once we reach the weekend proper, prompting the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) to activate a yellow heat warning along the southern coast.
Thursday July 3

Thursday will be mostly bright and sunny with building cloud cover later in the afternoon. Temperatures will remain largely unchanged for the time being but stiff breezes could bring a little relief during the central hours of the day.
Friday July 4

Friday will be mostly clear with some cloudy spells in the north of Alicante province. Temperatures will remain steady in the low to mid-30s across the board.
Saturday July 5

The skies will again be mostly clear and sunny, with a smattering of clouds. Daytime temperatures will shoot up along the southern coast, where a yellow heat warning has been activated between 12pm and 8pm.
Sunday July 6

We can expect a little more cloud cover on Sunday but it will still be bright and sunny for the most part. There’s a slight chance of thundery showers in the extreme north of the province, where temperatures could also dip by a degree or two. No changes are expected elsewhere.
Minimum and maximum temperatures in Alicante this weekend
- Thursday July 3: Min 21ºC; Max 35ºC
- Friday July 4: Min 21ºC; Max 35ºC
- Saturday July 5: Min 21ºC; Max 37ºC
- Sunday July 6: Min 20ºC; Max 37ºC
