Hazy and hot: Alicante weather forecast June 12-15
Daytime temperatures will shoot up into the 30s this weekend in Alicante province

Average temperatures expected on Sunday June 15
It’s going to be a bit of a strange weekend weather-wise in Alicante province. The temperatures will being to inch up day by day but a heavy cloud of Saharan dust will settle over the entire Costa Blanca, creating a deep haze that will obscure the sun.
Thursday June 12

The skies will be mostly clear on Thursday but visibility will poor occasionally due to the suspended dust. Temperatures are expected to remain steady, with little change from previous days.
Winds will be light and variable, with an easterly breeze becoming more noticeable in the afternoon and reaching moderate strength.
Friday June 12

The partly cloudy conditions will continue on Friday, with the possibility of low clouds forming along the coast during the morning. Intervals of high cloud cover are also expected throughout the day. Visibility may still be affected by suspended dust.
Temperatures will remain relatively unchanged. Winds will stay light and variable, with an easterly flow becoming more dominant in the afternoon and occasionally reaching moderate levels.
Saturday June 13

Saturday will bring intervals of medium and high clouds. Suspended dust may continue to reduce visibility in some areas.
Night-time temperatures are expected to stay the same, while maximum temperatures may rise slightly. Winds will be light and variable, but an easterly breeze will once again become more prominent in the afternoon, with moderate gusts at times.
Sunday June 14

The skies will again be partly cloudy on Sunday, and there is a chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms, particularly in northern inland areas.
Minimum temperatures will remain steady, but maximum temperatures are expected to drop slightly. Along the coast, moderate northeasterly winds are forecast, while other areas will experience light to moderate winds from the east.

- Friday June 13: Min 19ºC; Max 33ºC
- Saturday June 14: Min 20ºC; Max 35ºC
