The Hacienda Riquelme Golf Resort occupies an area of approximately 175 acres, on which there are over 1,800 two-bedroom apartments, almost all of them with one bathroom.The uniformity of the properties available could be seen as a drawback, but the design is tasteful and the blocks are never more than four storeys high.
Visually, they owe a lot to traditional Mediterranean features, with overhanging roofs and spacious shaded terraces, but the openness of the landscaped communal gardens which surround the swimming-pools for each block is more American in feel.
The resort is spacious enough for the number of properties not to cause any aesthetic problems, and the maintenance and cleanliness on the golf course and the gardens is immaculate.The 78 blocks are served by 19 communal swimming-pools and 6 children’s play areas.
Although the development as a whole is security gated, there are no security arrangements for individual blocks or areas of apartments. Ample car parking is provided, both underground and outside each phase of the development.All blocks look out over the beautifully maintained golf course, and are connected not only by road but also by pleasant walkways and cycle paths.
