ARCHIVED - Free tours of Orihuela and its coastline during June
A great chance to explore the popular municipality located at the foot of the Sierra de Orihuela mountains in the Vega Baja del Segura comarca of Alicante province.
The free tourist routes to suit all tastes are planned for June which will take in places not to be missed across Orihuela and its coastline.
There will be strolls along the beach, visits to historical buildings and Nordic walks.
The list of routes is as follows and prior booking is essential:
Saturday, June 5, 8pm - Modern monuments of Orihuela. Meet at Orihuela Tourist Information Centre.
Sunday, June 6, 9am - Nordic Walking in Rincón de Bonanza. Meet at Plaza del Carmen.
Saturday, June 12, 8.30pm - Orihuela City of Light. Meet at Puerta de la Olma.
Sunday, June 13, 10am - A walk along the beach from the Paseo de Playa Flamenca to Playa La Glea.
Saturday, June 19, 8pm - Palaces and monumental buildings. Meet at Orihuela Tourist Information Centre.
Sunday, June 20, 10am - Murals of San Isidro. Meet at El Guernica.
Monday, June 21, 6.30pm - Summer Solstice. Meet at Orihuela Tourist Information Centre.
Saturday, June 26, 8.30pm - Discover Armengola and Mysterious Orihuela. Meet at Fuente Armengola.
Sunday, June 27, 10am - Coastal Walk. Meet at Playa Flamenca.
Places are limited and anybody who wants to take part is asked to reserve in advance at orihuelaturistica.es
