ARCHIVED - Free blue zone parking in Murcia on Saturdays
From August parking will be free every day in Murcia
The summer has arrived and as usual, authorities in Murcia will relax parking requirements during the high season.
From July 1, parking in blue zones will be completely free on Saturdays, but drivers will still have to pay during the rest of the week, between 9am and 2pm and again from 5pm to 8pm Monday-Friday.
Motorists don’t have to pay to park in blue zones on Sundays or bank holidays and from August 1, parking will be free every day.
The regional government in Murcia is currently developing several projects to improve mobility in the city, including creating new bus and bicycle lanes.
