Fortuna dog shelter desperately seeking volunteers
Located slightly north of Murcia city, the Terrenito Asos Shelter need volunteers to help look after its pups
The Terrenito Asos Shelter, a dog shelter close to Fortuna (Murcia), is looking for volunteers to help them take care of the many abandoned dogs in their facilities.Founded by Marita Rubio, the Terrenito Asos Shelter works to shelter and re-home dogs that otherwise would not stand a chance.
Right now, they desperately need more volunteers to assist with day-to-day tasks at the shelter, such as cleaning out pens and walking the dogs, as they have around a hundred dogs to take care of.
They also need people to help organise fundraising events and just to socialise and interact with the puppies, an important part of giving the animals a good quality of life.Alternatively, you can donate just 1 euro per month to help them raise funds for the shelter via their account on teaming.net, or choose to foster or adopt a dog to give it a good home.
