For real this time: Drinking water supply cut in Los Alcazares tonight
After a false start on Wednesday, the water cut will happen on Thursday night and Friday morning
The Town Council of Los Alcázares reported on Tuesday, May 7, that for the whole day on Wednesday the Mancomunidad de los Canales del Taibilla would be cutting the supply of drinking water to the whole municipality for the entire day.
This was quickly cancelled as it would have caused far too much disruption to people’s lives, and the two bodies agreed to hold the water cut, which is necessary to undertake work on the water system, at a more reasonable time.
That more reasonable time has been set for 10pm this Thursday May 9, until 8am on Friday 10.
In a brief statement, the Town Hall explained, “Once the water cut is in place, water will still be available until the tanks are empty.”
