<span style='color:#780948'>ARCHIVED</span> - Flu and Covid vaccination campaign begins in Mazarron

Residents of Mazarrón will be able to make an appointment for a vaccination at the Health Centre from Thursday October 6. Walk-in patients aren’t being accepted at this time for either the flu or Covid jabs.

People will be able to choose whether they want the influenza or coronavirus inoculation, or both, but anybody requesting an appointment slot will need to present identification to the medical centre staff.

In anticipation of high demand, morning and afternoon schedules will be opened up to ensure anyone who wants to avail themselves of a vaccine has the opportunity to do so.

Additional flu and Covid vaccination appointments will also be available in the local clinics at Cañada de Gallego, Camposol and Majada.

Overall, the joint flu and coronavirus vaccination campaign is progressing smoothly, according to the regional health authorities, who hope to be able to offer the influenza jab to the general population by mid-November.
