Eating Out La Peraleja Golf Resort
There are 2 options on site, and plenty more within a short drive
There is a restaurant and café bar on the second floor of the golf clubhouse which is a stylish venue for dinner or snacks, and the piano bar opens in high season. In addition a Spanish tasca bar/restaurant called “La Pelegrina” is open in summer in the equestrian centre at the southern end of the development, with daily menus on offer. Opening times are from 12.00 to 16.00 and 19.00 to 24.00.
For more variety it is necessary to leave the development and head for the nearby towns.
In Sucina there are a couple of Spanish restaurants, a British bar and a combined Indian/Italian for those who miss their takeaways.
If you prefer to venture slightly further afield for a meal, there is plenty more on offer only a short distance away. Los Alcázares is within ten minutes’ drive, and offers a wide range of dining experiences, from a plethora of typically Spanish eateries to an impressive list of international cuisine. The number of options available is almost endless: whether your preferences are Mediterranean, Indian, Italian, Japanese, Chinese, French, American or even British – there is a “British alley” in Los Alcázares - you’ll be able to find something to satisfy the taste buds!
Los Alcázares, Sucina, Balsicas and San Javier are close enough to make a taxi easily affordable if the task of choosing a designated driver for the evening proves too controversial!
Slightly further afield, the Golf Resort is no more than 35 minutes from Cartagena and 25 minutes from Murcia, bringing both of the Region’s major cities within easy range for a special meal out. The southern end of the Costa Blanca is also close by (Pilar de la Horadada 20 minutes, Torrevieja 35 minutes), as is La Manga (35 minutes), so there’s plenty of opportunity to combine a little sightseeing with broadening your gastronomic horizons.
