ARCHIVED - Depraved man arrested in La Alberca for stabbing his dog
A dog stabber has been put behind bars after the sickening incident in Murcia city this weekend
A man was arrested this Saturday October 16 in the neighbourhood of La Alberca in Murcia city for stabbing a dog in the street.
Local Police and National Police were called to the scene and promptly took the suspect into custody after the man was reportedly scene deliberately harming the animal with a sharp implement. It is thought that the dog is his own pet, and that they were local residents of La Alberca.
The dog, a brown and white terrier, was treated in the very same street at the scene of the crime by vets from Murcia’s Zoonosis dog pound, and was later transferred to their facilities.
The owner has been charged with an alleged offence of animal abuse.
