December 5 Jumilla lights up for Christmas

Music, festive lights and Christmas magic in the heart of Jumilla

The wait is nearly over - Jumilla’s festive season is just about to begin! On Friday December 5 at 8.00pm, locals will gather in front of the Glorieta Garden to enjoy the much-loved tradition of switching on the town’s Christmas lights. This special night includes a lively concert with both the AJAM band and the children’s choir, promising a brilliant blend of Christmas carols and a few rock favourites.

What to look forward to

• The official lighting ceremony at the Glorieta Garden
• Performances from the Band and Children's Choir of the Jumilla Association of Friends of Music, led by Ángel Hernández and Felipe Otazo
• Enhanced Christmas lights, with new decorations throughout Jumilla: main roads, squares and villages will sparkle, including Cánovas del Castillo, Reyes Católicos and Levante avenues, Plaza del Camionero and Plaza de la Constitución, plus thirteen lit trees around the city and nine more in outlying districts
