December 16 Free 6-kilometre walk in the mountains of Carrascoy and El Valle
Visit the Civil War trenches and bunkers in the mountains just south of the city of Murcia
The route of this free guided walk in the regional park of El Valle and Carrascoy takes participants to various sites of interests such as old plaster kilns and shelters and trenches which date from the Spanish Civil War (1936-39).
The walk begins at 10.00, ending at approximately 13.30, and is not recommended for children under the age of 12.
Registration is online here and opens on December 2 – be sure to get in early as places are generally filled very quickly for these events!
