ARCHIVED - Covid certificates can now be downloaded into wallets on mobile phones in Murcia region
Both Android or iOS systems can be used
The Murcian health service has announced that anyone wishing to download the European Union Covid Digital Certificate onto their mobile phones can now undertake the process via both iOS and Android systems through the regional government webpage (https://sede.carm.es) or the health service appointments page https://portalsalud.carm.es/, entering the option 'Renew COVID Digital Certificate'.
Since the Covid certificate scheme first began in July, 546,880 certificates have been issued by the Ministry of Health, either in person through the health centers, the electronic headquarters of the Community (https://sede.carm.es) or the patient portal of the Murcian Health Service.
The Covid Certificate is an initiative of the European Union to facilitate travel between states during the pandemic. Its possession implies its recognition in all EU countries and avoids quarantines, tests or other supporting documents regarding Covid-19 when crossing borders.
